Conditions of Sale

Thank you for choosing us. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to sales of products and services from our online store and website provided by us or third parties ("Third-Party Providers") and may be subject to change from time to time, or varied at the time of purchase based on the specific products or services purchased. If you participate in our online store and website, you agree to these general terms and conditions of sale, in addition to the Website Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

The products and services may be available for purchase directly from the Third-Party Providers or from Homei Living, as indicated by the "sold by" field on the Product listing. You are encouraged to review your purchase documentation for the definitive terms applicable to your purchase, which may vary from those set out herein.

As used herein, "Homei Living", "we" and "us" refer to Homei Living Ltd. You, and similar expressions, refer to you, a prospective customer who purchases products and services from the Homei Living online store and website. "Third-Party Providers" refers to affiliates of Homei Living with whom we have an agreement to offer certain products and services including (i) the procurement of items, materials, and home décor products, and (ii) related services such as building and design.

1. Visuals

Product visuals on our online store and website are for design and advertising and may not be to scale. Size measurements may vary from the visual to the actual product. Homei Living provides no warranty for suitability, implied or otherwise regarding the use of the products displayed on the online store and website.

2. Orders

You may place an order for goods or services via our online store and website for delivery arranged by Homei Living through a third-party transport carrier provided the required delivery location is within Homei Living's serviceable area (Delivered Order); or

You may also place an order for shipping by a transport carrier engaged by Homei Living to collect the goods from a third-party warehouse/location for delivery to you (Collected Order).

(each an "Order").

An Order placed by you will constitute an offer and Homei Living reserves the right to accept or reject any Order, or any part of an Order, placed by you at its sole discretion.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your information included in the Order (including your name, contact number and email address) is correct and to notify Homei Living of any changes to such information.

All Orders are subject to logistics insurance carried by third party transport carriers that we engage from time to time. Such companies may differ in their insurance coverage. In the event of damage during delivery, we will work with you to resolve the issue but final determination will be made by the applicable transport carrier.

In some instances, you may also be able to order on-site installation.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices set out on our online store are in Canadian Dollars exclusive of the applicable GST/HST and PST unless otherwise specified and the orders made on the online store will not be processed without full payment.

Whereas prices are subject to change from time to time without notice to you, it is your responsibility to check and confirm the prices prior to placing an order.

4. Delivery

Homei Living or the transport carrier engaged by us will contact you once the goods are ready for collection or delivery (and where applicable, installation) to arrange a collection or delivery date.

Delivery fees are based on the delivery area and order type:

  • Small Parcel Delivery — $25. Applicable to small items and accessories.
  • Standard Delivery – Richmond — $169.
  • Standard Delivery – Vancouver, Burnaby & New Westminster — $199.
  • Standard Delivery – Surrey, Delta & Coquitlam — $229.
  • Extended Delivery – Port Coquitlam, Port Moody & Langley — $269.
  • Premium Area Delivery – North Vancouver, West Vancouver & White Rock — $299.

Enjoy free delivery in Richmond, Burnaby, and Vancouver on qualifying orders over $3,000.

Additional charges may apply for stairs, difficult access, oversized items, waiting time, remote locations, elevator restrictions, or other special delivery requirements. Delivery fees are non-refundable once the delivery has been completed.

Homei Living reserves the right to nominate a preferred delivery date, and you acknowledge that the actual delivery date may be earlier or later than any estimated delivery timeframe provided. While Homei Living will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the goods within the estimated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to logistics, carrier scheduling, weather conditions, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any delay in delivery (and where applicable, installation) does not entitle either party to cancel, terminate, or treat the Order or related contract as repudiated.

Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate access for delivery, including accurate address information, elevator bookings where required, and clear pathways for large furniture items. If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues or customer unavailability, additional re-delivery or storage charges may apply.

For smaller items, Homei Living or our transport carriers may complete delivery without prior appointment booking.

5. Failure to Accept Delivery

If an Order cannot be delivered, or if you fail to collect or accept delivery of your Order, Homei Living will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the contact information provided and arrange an alternative delivery or collection date. Homei Living reserves the right to charge additional fees for failed delivery attempts, re-delivery, storage, handling, or follow-up arrangements.

If the goods remain uncollected or undelivered within 30 days from the original scheduled delivery or pickup date, Homei Living reserves the right to reallocate the goods to another customer, cancel the Order, or otherwise dispose of the goods at its sole discretion. Any deposits, delivery fees, storage fees, or related charges paid may be retained by Homei Living to offset associated costs and losses.

6. Returns / Refunds / Cancellation and Claims

Orders may be cancelled within two (2) days of purchase and prior to shipment or pickup for a refund to the original payment method, less any non-refundable credit card processing fees.

Furniture and home products purchased in-store or online may be returned within five (5) days of receiving the product for full store credit. Refunds to the original payment method within this period are subject to a 15% restocking fee. After five (5) days, all furniture and home product sales are final.

Building materials, including flooring products, may be returned within five (5) days of receiving the product and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Opened, installed, damaged, cut, or partial quantities are not eligible for return. After five (5) days, all building material sales are final.

All returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

Please note:

  • Deposits for pre-ordered or special-order items are non-refundable.
  • Delivery, shipping, assembly, and installation fees are non-refundable.
  • A pickup fee will apply if we collect the returned item.
  • Custom orders and discounted purchases are final sales and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.

7. Wrong Product Delivered

In the event that you order from the Homei Living website then receive an incorrect product, let us know within 3 days of receiving your delivery with photo proof and we will investigate and offer to send you the correct product and arrange for the pick-up and return of the incorrectly shipped product at no cost to you.

8. Damaged and Defective Items

Where a product arrives and the packaging or the product itself is clearly and significantly damaged, you should take photos or video showing the damage, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately. Where delivery is accepted and the product is missing parts, is faulty, is defective or has been damaged during manufacturing, please take photos or video clearly illustrating the problem and contact us as soon as possible, within 48 hours of receiving your delivery. Whereas the product fault depends on the fault itself, you will not be entitled to a remedy for:

  • Normal wear and tear of the product
  • Damage arising from improper assembly or modification (except if we or our contractors are responsible for the assembly or modification)
  • Damage arising from abnormal use, misuse or abuse
  • Damage arising from improper care or maintenance (e.g. fabric, leather, or timber)
  • Damage to external or product packaging only
  • Damage occurring during your own handling and transportation of goods
  • Insignificant minor variations in product dimensions, colour, grain or finish (as between a received product and an advertised product)
  • Damage resulting from the client's failure to take reasonable care to prevent the product from being of acceptable quality

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we do not provide any remedies for any damaged or defective items for Collected Orders, and you are advised to follow-up with the third party seller of such products for any available remedies.

9. Liability as to Delivery of Goods

If for any reason Homei Living is unable to fulfil your Order or deliver the goods (not applicable to customized item) to you by the estimated delivery date or at all, you will be notified and may be offered a choice to cancel the Order and receive a refund of the amounts paid, store or delivery Credit, or an Homei Living Gift Card. Homei Living will not be liable for any loss you incur where goods (or any of them) are not made available for collection or delivered by the estimated delivery date, the dispatch date or at all.

10. Risk and Title

All risk in the goods you order passes to you on delivery. Delivery occurs where we deliver the item(s) to the delivery address, and when the goods are unloaded at the delivery address. All title in the goods passes to you on receipt by Homei Living of the full payment for the goods and all other charges payable by you as determined during the purchase.

11. Manufacturer / Third Party Warranties

All products will be subject to the third party/manufacturer's warranty. This will usually be communicated on the relevant product page. Where you experience an issue with a product that comes with a third party/manufacturer's warranty, the third party/manufacturer will generally be able to provide a faster assessment and remedy than us. Many third parties/manufacturers will have dedicated support centres with access to more detailed knowledge on their respective products, in addition to better access to spare parts. You may prefer to contact the manufacturer directly to seek a resolution rather than contacting us. If you would prefer that we assist you or you're unhappy with the resolution of your issue, please contact us for help.
